Brew

We recommend these methods to brew our coffee.

One of the things that makes coffee so great is the variety of ways to brew, each of which pull out different components of the roast. Here are a few methods we prefer, but if you use other methods like a french press or auto dripper, here are some good rules of thumb while brewing with just about anything.

  • 1:16 (coffee:water) ratio
  • Water 200 degrees
  • Grind: fine=more time, coarse=less time
  • Pour consistency throughout brew
  • 2.5 – 3 minute extraction time

Of course, in the end it’s up to you- you’re the one drinking the coffee, so get weird! Have some fun, mess around with your variables and find what works best for you. Enjoy!
